1 pound ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme), chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined and shape into meatballs.
Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk, butter, and fresh herbs. Mash until creamy.
Serve meatballs over garlic herb mashed potatoes.
